Claire Zimmerman

Claire Zimmerman teaches architecture at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Recent projects include the exhibition New Brutalist Image 1949-1955 (co-curated with Victoria Walsh, Royal College of Art; November 2014-October 2015) at London’s Tate Britain, and Photographic Architecture in the Twentieth Century (University of Minnesota Press, 2014). A co-edited essay collection, Neo-avant-garde and Postmodern: Postwar Architecture in Britain and Beyond (with Mark Crinson) appeared as Volume 21 in Studies in British Art (Yale University Press) in 2010. A monograph on Mies van der Rohe was published by Taschen in 2006.
