Thomas Stubblefield

Thomas Stubblefield is an Assistant Professor in Art History at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. His book, 9/11 and the Visual Culture of Disaster (Indiana University Press, 2015) was awarded the Rollins Prize by the New England Popular Culture Association. Other recent publications include: “In Pursuit of Other Networks: Drone Art and Accelerationist Aesthetics” in Life in the Age of Drones and “How to Disappear Completely (Into Surveillance Video): Peter Bergmann and the North Pond Hermit,” in Media Fields Journal. He is the recipient of several grants and fellowships, including the Josef Breitenbach Research Fellowship through the University of Arizona’s Center for Creative Photography.
