Farhan Karim is an associate professor of architecture at the University of Kansas. He is the author of Of Greater Dignity Than Riches: Austerity and Housing Design in India. He has edited the Routledge Companion to Architecture and Social Engagement and Boundary, Flows and the Making of Modern Muslim Selves through Architecture.
