Michael Abrahamson is a Ph.D. Candidate in the History and Theory of Architecture at the University of Michigan, where his dissertation research focuses on the buildings of Gunnar Birkerts. Prior to his enrollment at Michigan, Michael taught architectural design, theory, and history at Kent State University. He has published criticism in Architectural Review, San Rocco, Fulcrum (AA), and is a frequent contributor to CLOG, for whom he guest edited the February 2013 issue on Brutalism. He also operates the well-known Tumblr photo blog F—- Yeah Brutalism.
