Erik Carver

Erik Carver is a PhD candidate in architectural history at Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation and an instructor at the Rhode Island School of Design. His work focuses on design, technology, and labor in the nineteenth century. He was a researcher at Columbia’s Buell Center and coauthored, with Janette Kim, The Underdome Guide to Energy Reform (Princeton Architectural Press, 2015), which was supported by awards from the Van Alen Institute and the Graham Foundation. Prior to this, he worked in the architecture profession in New York.
